In Paris, Poroshenko “ran into” Sarkozy over Crimea

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko hopes that the former head of France, Nicolas Sarkozy, was mistaken in recognizing the referendum in Crimea as legitimate.

Poroshenko said this in an interview with the French TV channel iTele.
“Crimea will always be Ukrainian, it is inseparable from Ukraine. Crimeans are already seeing how their living conditions are deteriorating. I hope that Sarkozy was wrong in his words about Crimea,” Poroshenko said.
Let us recall that in February 2015, Nicolas Sarkozy, speaking at the congress of his party “Union for a Popular Movement,” called for respect for the choice of the residents of Crimea.
