The meeting of leaders in the “Normandy Format” with the participation of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, Russian leader Vladimir Putin, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Francois Hollande started late.

The meeting takes place at the Elysee Palace in Paris. The agenda foresaw the beginning of the Normandy summit at 15:15 Kyiv time.

The summit was preceded by bilateral meetings between Hollande and Poroshenko, as well as two bilateral meetings of Putin with Hollande and Merkel, respectively.

In addition to the heads of state from the Ukrainian delegation, the delegations during the meeting in the Normandy format also included Foreign Minister Pavel Klimkin, Deputy Head of Poroshenko's Administration Konstantin Eliseev, Chief of the General Staff Viktor Muzhenko and the representative of Ukraine in the trilateral contact group Roman Bessmertny.
