According to him, maximum funds should be transferred to communities so that they themselves distribute them for their needs, and not ask from Kyiv. This, according to Berezyuk, is decentralization, which will strengthen the position of the village, city, region and will not allow other regions to rebel.
“Without a doubt, defense spending today should be a priority, but it must be controlled, of high quality and transparent. But we must transfer that part of the money that we may not take from the community, and we can give them to use efficiently or poorly, and they will be responsible for this,” said the leader of the Samopomich faction.
