This was stated by ex-Crimean citizen, chairman of the committee on social policy, employment and pensions Lyudmila Denisova from the parliamentary rostrum.
According to her, the bill provides that every pensioner who receives a pension lower than the subsistence level (9 million citizens) will receive assistance from the state in the amount of 1130 UAH, and every public sector employee, of whom there are 3,4 million in Ukraine, will receive 1450 UAH
Denisova recalled that the day before, Petro Poroshenko, during his speech before parliament, supported the position of the Popular Front regarding the mandatory adoption of a law on the special confiscation of Yanukovych’s funds.
“This is a constant demand of the Popular Front; we will insist that, finally, a special confiscation mechanism be created for the funds that Yanukovych stole from his people,” Denisova said.
“The Yatsenyuk government found these funds last year in Oschadbank, they need to be taken and financed the defense capability of the state, thus increasing it,” she added.
Let us recall that in the almost three years that have passed since the overthrow of Viktor Yanukovych, the new authorities have not been able to prove a single charge brought against the ex-president, and Interpol refused to put him on the wanted list at the request of Kyiv.
