The Yatsenyuk-Parubiy-Turchinov party is still thinking about whether to go to the elections, where nothing will happen to them
The Popular Front party of Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Andrei Parubiy and Alexander Turchynov has not yet decided whether it will go to early parliamentary elections and in what format, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was stated by the chairman of the Popular Front faction, Maxim Burbak, to journalists from the Kyiv edition of UNN.
“We haven’t decided yet, discussions are still underway, we will inform you in the near future,” Burbak noted, answering the question in what format the NF will go to the elections. He also added that Arseniy Yatsenyuk will not run in the majority constituency, and negotiations on the format of participation in the elections with Alexander Turchynov are still ongoing.
“In two weeks, the active phase of the campaign will begin and we see that we do not have time to reformat, although from a legal point of view the decree (of President Vladimir Zelensky on the dissolution of the Verkhovna Rada - ed.) is unconstitutional and elections should be held in October this year. We don’t have time to reformat, but this does not take away the right of our deputies to go to majoritarian constituencies,” says the head of the faction.
Let us remind you that according to opinion polls from leading sociological firms, the Popular Front has a rating of less than 1% and does not get into the new Rada under any circumstances.
