Zelensky's party promises to check everyone
Candidates for membership in the Servant of the People presidential party will be checked, in particular, based on their past affiliation with political parties, connections in political circles, criminal records, participation in scandals or corruption schemes, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported by the press service of the Servant of the People party.
According to the press service, first of all, candidates’ resumes with all materials are studied and carefully checked by the internal security service and HR agency specialists. These same specialists may also conduct psychological interviews with individual candidates if necessary. Information about candidates is also checked in open sources.
In particular, the following characteristics are taken into account: which parties and organizations the applicant was a member of, his connections in political circles, whether he was wanted and had a criminal record, was previously involved in scandals or corruption schemes, and whether there was abuse of official position during the period when the applicant held leadership positions.
On the social networks Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, experts monitor public pages for positive and negative statements, provocative publications, and the like.
As noted in the party’s press service, the registration procedure for candidates for deputy candidates in majoritarian constituencies has been completed on the Servant of the People website. As of June 3, more than 30 people wishing to join the political force team had registered on the party’s website, in particular, more than 000 people offered their candidacies for nomination in single-mandate constituencies.
The names of candidates who will run for deputies from the party will be presented during the party congress, which will take place on June 8.
