Zelensky’s party proposed legalizing a scheme to pay off death in a “counterattack”
Ukrainians who do not want to fight, and at the same time earn little, should be sent to work abroad, provided that from there they will donate to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Servant of the People deputy Georgiy Mazurashu stated this at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If certain people, even men, between the ages of 18 and 60, cannot fight - for various reasons - someone cannot for health reasons, for moral and volitional qualities, and so on - then we must be given the opportunity to work and contribute to the functioning of the economy, because this is revenue to the budget and this is funding for the same military needs,” Mazurashu said.
According to him, those who cannot feed themselves in Ukraine should be allowed to leave the country to earn money.
“And if someone does not have the opportunity to work here for a more or less decent salary that will allow them to support themselves and their family, then let them go abroad and work abroad, for example, on the terms of guaranteed contributions to the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the deputy suggested.
He gave an example when it was possible for the Ukrainian Armed Forces to benefit from sending a Ukrainian who did not want to fight abroad, but the state did not take advantage of this.
“A resident of the Chernivtsi region asked to help him travel abroad. I say, I don’t do this, I don’t know the options. But he says, I worked before in Austria, there are many interesting employers there.
He says: my employers say that they are ready to give six, no, five cars to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. That is, Austrian employers were ready to give five cars to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as they said, “to free their friend from Ukrainian slavery.” Can you imagine how unpleasant it is to hear and listen to!
But do you know how it ended? It ended up that the same citizen arrived right before a full-scale home invasion and was no longer able to go back to work.
He paid 6 thousand euros, but officially, as he later told me after he left, that he was even stamped in his passport, he left for that Austria, and now, of course, he’s not really in the mood and desire to help his native state much, which forced him to spend 6 thousand euros on bribes in order to leave the country,” said Mazurashu.
