In the four discovered establishments, “their guards and visitors were isolated by the time local police officers arrived on the scene,” the Right Sector press service reported.
“As a result of a joint raid with law enforcement officers, the entire daily revenue of the institutions - 38 thousand hryvnia - was seized and transferred to the employees of the criminal investigation department of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Dnepropetrovsk region,” said the Right Sector.
All establishments were disguised as bookmakers with corresponding signs in residential buildings. Three institutions were generally located in the city center, two or three blocks from each other. Each room had exclusively slot machines.
At the first establishment where right-wing activists arrived, two guards from a private security company arrived with pneumatic weapons, who were also detained before the arrival of law enforcement officers.
“In another establishment on Lenin Street, 59, before the arrival of police officers, members of the Right Sector managed to give an educational lecture to the security and clients of the establishment about the dangers of an antisocial, essentially illegal business,” the party claims.
As Navigator reported, in Gorlovka, supporters of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” destroyed a slot machine hall; they did not find any money.
