US President Barack Obama, at a joint press conference with British Prime Minister Theresa May in Guangzhou, said that the US and UK maintain a common position on Ukraine and will confront Russia on this issue.

“We are NATO partners, we see the world the same way, we will continue to confront Russian aggression in Ukraine, we will continue to confront cyber threats, we will continue to work tirelessly to defeat terrorist groups, and we will continue to work to defeat the Islamic State,” Barack Obama said.
The US President also noted that “under the leadership of Prime Minister Theresa May, the UK has reaffirmed a clear commitment to the transatlantic security structure.”
