The Pentagon has counted all missile launches of the Russian Aerospace Forces in Ukraine
The US Department of Defense said Russia launched more than 1900 missiles against Ukraine during the 63-day war. A Pentagon official said this during a briefing at the department.
“On day 63 we can report that more than 1900 missile launches have been made since the invasion began. The majority of missile launches and, frankly, aircraft strikes in Ukraine continue to take place in Mariupol and the Donbass,” the Pentagon spokesman said.
According to him, there are now 92 Russian operational battalion-tactical groups on the territory of Ukraine.
“This is more than the last time you and I had the opportunity to talk. We would assess that Russian forces are acting slowly and unevenly, and, frankly, we would characterize this as gradual progress in the Donbass...” the official said.
On March 29, the Pentagon reported that the Russians had fired more than 1370 missiles against Ukraine.
