Lawyer, expert of the All-Russian Parental Resistance organization Oleg Barsukov stated this today at a round table in Moscow.
“School directors forced teachers to hold at least one meeting with parents on corruption. The stands, which were previously dedicated to patriotic education, now feature posters about the fight against corruption. Seminars and competitions are held among children, where they draw how, for example, epic heroes defeat the hydra of corruption or a wad of dollars behind bars,” Barsukov said.
According to him, school directors take this work seriously and responsibly.
“This trend, when patriotism is replaced by the fight against corruption, is not regulated by the state at all, it is sent down to school principals by some kind of oral orders. For example, on the websites of some schools you can read: they discussed the fight against corruption using the example of the story “Heart of a Dog” or “Old Woman Izergil,” Barsukov said.
Let us recall that today the Federation Council of the Russian Federation instructed its education committee to check the facts of replacing the lessons of patriotic education with lessons in the fight against corruption in St. Petersburg.
