In Moscow, Navalny's supporters beat up a riot policeman
At an unsanctioned rally in Moscow, supporters of Alexei Navalny started attacking the police, BBC Russian Service journalist Andrei Soshnikov reports on Twitter.

In the comments to the tweet, some users noted that for such actions “in a democratic United States this man would have been shot on the spot,” and also advised the riot police not to stand on ceremony with the protesters.
