The head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in Kyiv, Andrei Krischenko, states that the understaffing of the police is 14,5%, or 1 people, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He said this in an interview with the online publication Left Bank.
“I think there is a shortage of personnel in any organization. The understaffing in the Kyiv police today is 14,5%. In absolute numbers, this is 1 people out of 350 thousand...” he said.
According to him, before the reform, police understaffing was always about 10%.
As previously reported, over the three years of the patrol police’s existence, every seventh policeman has already quit.
