“Polish law enforcement agencies informed the Ukrainian Embassy in the Republic of Poland that during 2017, the police registered 39 cases of attacks on Ukrainian citizens based on national intolerance,” the embassy reported.

At the same time, during January-March 2018, the embassy did not receive any appeals from Ukrainian citizens who were attacked on ethnic grounds. There was no information from the Polish competent authorities about the beating of Ukrainians.

The most resonant incident of this kind took place in May 2017. Then in Warsaw there was an attack on Ukrainians because they spoke to each other in Ukrainian.
