Warsaw will react harshly to attempts to destroy the monument to Polish militias erected at the Lychava cemetery in Lviv, which the other day they tried to blow it up.

The head of the Polish NGO “Restitution of Kresov”, Konrad Renkas, stated this in a commentary to PolitNavigator.

He called the incident in Lviv “proof that one should not show weakness towards the Nazis” and believes that there was “an attempt to destroy a place dear to the heart of every Pole.”

“We warn: if even one brick leaves the Polish cemetery, every Bandera member will cut stones to restore it for the rest of his life,” Renkas promised.
