This was stated on Radio Liberty by the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland Andrei Deshchytsia, who chanted obscene chants at the cameras during the pogrom of the Russian embassy in Kyiv.
“I think that one is not quite tired of Ukraine. I have the impression that the current state of society in Poland is... Not the same as it was two years ago - then there was such enthusiasm, a large volunteer movement in support of Ukraine. We went to Maidan, helped financially, received our military. But now there is a feeling that Poland is waiting to see whether changes have finally taken place in Ukraine, whether there has been a turning point in Ukraine’s transition to a new quality, or not, or maybe everything will go back. Therefore, no one wants to take any clear position,” Deshchytsia said.
