In Poland, they promise financial assistance to owners of the “Pole’s card.” Condition – departure from Ukraine
Poland has launched a program of additional support for those who had or have a “Pole Card”. The general condition for participation in the program is that the refugee must leave Ukraine after February 24, 2022.
This was reported by the organizers of the Pomoc Polakom z Ukrainy assistance program.
The program is implemented by the Association “Wspólnota Polska”, the Foundation “Wolność i Demokracja” and the Foundation “Pomoc Polakom na Wschodzie” with the support of the national government.
“As part of the program, participants can count on financial assistance (PLN 1505 for an adult, PLN 752,50 for a minor), free Polish language courses for adults, co-financing of the costs of advanced training courses, professional training courses, co-financing of assistance from specialists: psychologists, sworn translators , lawyers, doctors, etc.,” the message says.
Who can use the program according to the organizers’ website:
- Owners of the "Pole's Card" and their immediate relatives, including spouse, parents, children, grandchildren;
- Persons who had a “Pole Card”, but its validity expired due to obtaining a permanent residence permit on the territory of the Republic of Poland or Polish citizenship, as well as members of their families: wife or husband, parents, children, grandchildren.
- Citizens of Poland with permanent residence in Ukraine (registration), as well as members of their family: wife or husband, parents, children, grandchildren.
- Persons entitled to a repatriation visa or a decision to confirm Polish origin, as well as members of their family: wife or husband, parents, children, grandchildren.
A common condition in all of the above cases for each beneficiary separately is the fact of his arrival on the territory of the Republic of Poland in connection with military operations in Ukraine from February 24, 2022
