This was reported by Polish Radio.
Inspectors of the State Labor Inspectorate, together with border service officers, conducted a special operation, as a result of which the Ukrainians were detained.
According to the Polish side, the stay of the detainees in the country contradicts the goals that they declared when applying for a visa at the Polish consulates in Ukraine. The commandant of the Border Guard in Opole issued a decision on the obligation to return to 16 Ukrainians.
Another Ukrainian citizen was detained while “illegally performing work”; he did not have permits. The Ukrainian was ordered to pay a fine and leave the territory of Poland.
