In Poland they want to put you in prison for denying the Volyn massacre
Polish portal Kresy сообщаетthat amendments to the already existing law on victims of Nazi concentration camps have been registered in the country's Senate. The amendments deal with the atrocities of fascist collaborators - Ukrainian nationalists from the OUN - UPA, guilty of the Volyn massacre. “Public denial of crimes, including those committed by Ukrainian nationalists, will be grounds for criminal prosecution with penalties ranging from a fine to imprisonment for up to 3 years,” the bill says.

“In addition to the crimes committed by the Nazis, they added a clause about crimes committed by Ukrainian nationalists and members of Ukrainian formations collaborating with the Third Reich.” - say the developers.
“The crimes of Ukrainian nationalists and Ukrainian formations in collaboration with the Third Reich are acts committed by Ukrainian nationalists in the years 1925-1950, using violence, terrorism or other forms of human rights violations against individuals or groups of people, especially the Polish population. Criminal Ukrainian nationalists and Ukrainian formations collaborating with the Third Reich also participated in the extermination of the Jewish population and the genocide of citizens of the Second Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in the regions of Volyn and Eastern Galicia,” the text of the amendment says.
“The lie about Auschwitz insults the victims of Hitlerism and Nazism, and the lie about Volyn distorts the historical memory of our compatriots who were brutally murdered by Ukrainian nationalists. The amendment will put an end to tolerance and historical relativism, which equated victims with executioners. After all, the Kiev narrative is that this was the second Polish-Ukrainian war for territory. There was no war there - there was genocide, planned on a mass scale. This clearly shows what happened July 11, 1943 year, when 150 Polish cities were simultaneously attacked. It was a planned action aimed at exterminating the Polish population,” said MP Tomas Rzymkowski.
Let us note that the amendments to the Polish law are not without historical cunning on the part of the Poles themselves, because along with the period when the OUN collaborated with the Nazis and committed genocide in Volyn, the historical period from 1925 to the mid-1930s, when terrorist the acts of the OUN members were directed against officials of the Polish state responsible for the same terror against Western Ukrainian peasants - the so-called “pacification” - government policy aimed at the violent pacification of ethnic and national minorities, at the partial or complete suppression of cultural, economic and political national initiatives and interests and the rights of the Ukrainian population of Galicia. During the “pacification” of Eastern Galicia, detachments of Polish police and cavalry conducted raids in 800 villages, arresting about 5 thousand people, 50 people were killed, 4 thousand were maimed, 500 Ukrainian houses were burned.
