In Poltava, Right Sector militants seized a taxi driver’s car and ended up in prison
Proof that the civil position of the Right Sector militants has a criminal basis is the incident that occurred with a Poltava taxi driver in the second half of June last year.

He brought three passengers from Poltava to the suburban village of Gorbanovka, and they asked to wait for one more person. As soon as he turned off the engine, the guy sitting in the front seat pulled the key out of the ignition and began to beat the driver, and the guy sitting behind him pointed a gun.
It turned out that he was dealing with “patriots” from the Right Sector. They demanded fifty thousand hryvnia for “body armor for soldiers in the ATO.” The victim did not have that kind of money. Even the car was not his, but rented. Political bandits forced me to call friends and acquaintances asking to borrow money. However, realizing the futility of their attempts, the robbers forced me to drive back to the city, took the documents for the car, and dropped me off on the outskirts of Poltava.
The filibusters were so confident that their power had come and they would remain unpunished that they could not provide any resistance to the police officers who detained everyone in the same car. One of the raiders had a rich criminal past and was a mentor to his accomplices, who taught him the basics of political life.
Two of those arrested immediately, as often happens with Ukrainian nationalist extremists, immediately fell seriously ill. All three sentenced to real imprisonment for three, four, and five years, depending on the manifestation of initiative and ingenuity.
