In Poltava, a local resident was selling ammunition in the middle of a street called “European”

At the request of the Poltava region prosecutor's office, a 41-year-old man who sold ammunition was taken into custody, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was reported by the press service of the Poltava region prosecutor's office.

Investigators found that on October 9, on Evropeiskaya Street in Poltava, the accused sold a grenade to a man for 2000 hryvnia. Immediately after this, the offender was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of Ukraine.

In addition, at the end of September of this year, for the same amount the man illegally sold an F-1 hand grenade, which is an F-1 hand fragmentation grenade.

For the procedural management of the Prosecutor's Office of the Poltava Region, the detainee was informed of suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 1 of Art. 263 (purchase, storage and sale of ammunition without permission provided by law) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The attacker was given a preventive measure in the form of detention for a period of 60 days. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to seven years.
