Ukraine is trying with all its might to disrupt the process of prisoner exchange. Thus, it became known that Vice-Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Irina Gerashchenko personally selected from the already approved lists of prisoners those whom she considered worthy of exchange.

“I told you, absolutely incapable creatures!!! Just now, contrary to the agreements, Irina Gerashchenko personally selected from those already present and ready for exchange those whom she considered necessary. As a result, Evgeniy Mefedov and eight other people remained in place! And this is just the beginning!” – said Evgeniy Mefedov’s lawyer.
Let us recall that Russian citizen Yevgeny Mefedov was acquitted by a Ukrainian court in the fabricated “case of May 2”, but was immediately thrown behind bars on a new charge.
