The newly appointed governor of Transcarpathia, Gennady Moskal, spoke about this in an interview with the Kyiv magazine Focus.

“At first it was an ordinary party with patriots, then they got people with an unbalanced and criminal background,” characterizes the Right Sector official. “And here, in Transcarpathia, these latter prevailed over the former, turning the Right Sector into an organized criminal armed group.”

Moskal proposes to fight this group with the most stringent measures.

“The smugglers and the Right Sector are stained with human blood, their power in Transcarpathia must be put an end to,” the Transcarpathian governor is convinced. “And this must be done harshly, using the most unpopular methods.” Gangs must be destroyed and smuggling channels blocked.”
