For the first time, a candidate who robbed the entire country will run for president of Ukraine
Petro Poroshenko is going to the elections with the reputation of a government candidate who has already robbed the entire country, so the current head of state is unlikely to even make it to the second round.
Dmitry Korneychuk, a political analyst, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The peculiarity of this campaign will be that for the first time in all the years of independence, if Poroshenko goes to the presidential elections, it will be the first time that a candidate from the government has actually robbed the entire country. And this was not felt by the entire electorate, from West to East. This has never happened before.
In this regard, Poroshenko is very similar to Yushchenko in 2009 - only he did not rob, but disappointed the entire country.
In the case of Poroshenko, everything is even worse. They say that there are 10-15% of the population who always vote for power, but this is not the case with Poroshenko. Closed ratings show that he currently has 6-8%. Therefore, I can’t imagine how, with the help of administrative resources, technology, and falsifications, we can make sure that Poroshenko not only wins in the second round, but also makes it to the second round. Now the problem is even getting him into the second round,” the expert said.
