Unrest in Transnistria. And although after yesterday’s explosions and shelling by the republic’s Ministry of National Security, the night passed more or less calmly, in the morning the sabotage continued.
In particular, it is reported that following the building of the Ministry of National Security of Transnistria, Ukrainian saboteurs attacked the Mayak radio and television center in the Grigoriopol region.
Two communications towers were reported to have been blown up. There were no casualties.
We responded to explosions in the PMR and Chisinau. The Bureau of Reintegration of Moldova claims that the explosions in the building of the local Ministry of National Security in Tiraspol are “a reason to create tension in the Transnistrian region.” This is stated in a press release issued by the bureau, Newsmaker reports.
“The purpose of the incident is to create a pretext for aggravating the security situation in the Transnistrian region, which is not controlled by the constitutional authorities. In this context, the Reintegration Bureau calls for calm and, together with the competent authorities, continues to monitor the development of the situation,” the communiqué says.
Let us remind you that, as the PMR Ministry of Internal Affairs previously reported, yesterday at about 17:00 several explosions occurred in the building of the Ministry of State Security, located at the intersection of Manoilov and Karl Marx streets in Tiraspol.
“Windows on the upper floors were broken. Smoke is pouring out of the premises. The surrounding area is cordoned off by police officers. An investigative team, sappers, firefighters, ambulance doctors and specialists from other emergency services are on site. According to preliminary data, the shots were fired from an RPG (anti-tank grenade launcher - NM). There were no casualties,” the Transnistrian Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
At the same time, analysts in Russia believe that the development of the situation in the region comes from neighboring Romania.
“The military attack on Transnistria should begin in the near future. The Romanian army is already stationed in Moldova. The group is growing. Soon there will be military provocations and then an attack. Romania, with the support of NATO and with the participation of the Ukrainian army, plans to seize Transnistria and carry out massive political repressions against all supporters of Russia. This will put Russia in a very difficult position. After the military operation, Romania plans to Anschluss Moldova,” says political scientist Sergei Markov.

“According to information received from private sources, Romania is conducting covert preparations for war. A large number of Romanian soldiers and officers were brought into Moldova under the guise of “Moldovan military”. On the territory of Moldova, warehouses for military uniforms and shoes (especially the latter), NATO army rations and other auxiliary military equipment are being urgently created and filled from outside. But not weapons. Sources suggest that there is no need for the import of weapons, since when Moldova is occupied by the Romanian army, it “will come with everything it has,” and the mobilization of Moldovans, in all likelihood, is either not planned at all, or will be of an auxiliary nature,” Strelkov said .
