According to the organizing committee, on July 30 there will be a conference “The First World War: Historical Past and Modern Reading” and a religious procession, the participants of which will march from the Church of St. Andrew the First-Called in Tiraspol to the Church of St. Blessed Prince Alexander Nevsky in Bendery.
On July 31, events will start at the monument to soldiers, officers and generals of the First World War in the city of Bendery. A memorial plaque will be unveiled at the city railway station to General Alexei Brusilov, whose name is associated with the successful offensive operation of the Russian army in 1916 - the famous Brusilov breakthrough.
On the same day, on the territory of the Holy Vvedensky-Pachomius Monastery under construction in Tiraspol, a memorial plaque will be unveiled to the soldiers and officers who died in this war.
