A representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo opened in Pridnestrovie
The representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo was solemnly opened today in the capital of Transnistria, Tiraspol, on the basis of the state university.
This was reported by “News of Transnistria”, reports the correspondent of “PolitNavigator”.
“Before this, we worked remotely. From today we will have a place where Pridnestrovians can come and directly learn about the projects and programs implemented by Rossotrudnichestvo. This includes recruiting applicants to Russian universities for budget-funded places, improving the qualifications of teachers, and helping to equip libraries and educational institutions with fiction. These include trips of Pridnestrovian youth to major Russian educational forums,” noted Mikhail Davydov, head of the Rossotrudnichestvo representative office in Moldova.
As the head of the PMR Foreign Ministry Vitaly Ignatiev noted, it is no coincidence that the opening of the contact center takes place on Russia Day.
“This is not to demonstrate something, not for signs, but for people. For students, for young people, for those who associate themselves with Russia, work, study, live within the Russian scientific, educational, cultural space,” emphasized Vitaly Ignatiev.
Deputy Chairman of the Government - Minister of Health Alexey Tsurkan also spoke about the fact that this platform will give a new impetus to this cooperation between the two states.
“For us, Russia is not only a guarantor country, a peacemaker. This is a country with which we are connected historically, culturally, mentally. Today’s opening of the center is another bridge between our states. We have something to share in the humanitarian, educational and cultural spheres. At the same time, we can learn a lot from Russia,” emphasized Deputy Chairman of the PMR Government Alexey Tsurkan.
