In Transnistria they are threatening to block the transit of Ukrainian cargo going to the Black Sea ports if Ukraine, in turn, does not lift the blockade of the PMR.

Ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs of the PMR Vladimir Yastrebchak announced this possibility on the TSV TV channel. According to him, the situation with the transit of tanks with fuel from Belarus to the PMR already developed in 2006 and was resolved in a short time.
“It helped that a significant amount of Ukrainian transit passed through us. Now these volumes have decreased, but, nevertheless, as soon as this affected the vital interests of Ukraine, the Ukrainians very quickly broke down their own bridge, then Chisinau became more negotiable, and very quickly all solutions for freight transport were found. As soon as the Ukrainian side began to lose about 100 million UAH. per day, due to the fact that transit through our territory was closed, adequacy very quickly returned to many of our colleagues. And since railway lines across Ukrainian territory to supply Ukrainian Black Sea ports have not yet been built, I think the moment is not far off when we will also have to think about adequacy,” Yastrebchak emphasized.
As PolitNavigator has already reported, Ukraine blocked supplies of Belarusian fuel to the PMR.
