This was reported by the Ostrov publication.
“The children were shown a whole arsenal - from F1 and RGD-5 grenades to grenade launchers and anti-personnel mines,” the publication says.
As the publication notes, the children easily guessed all types of grenades and shells. Many children can even tell by the sound what kind of shelling is going on.
“When tanks shoot or machine guns, I don’t even pay attention. But when there’s hail or mortars, it’s scary here. I immediately run and hide in the basement or bathroom. It's been quiet since September 1st. Only sometimes can we hear machine gun fire,” said Alexandra Lozhka, a 4th grade student at the secondary school in the village of Chermalyk.
