In the suburbs of Belgrade, Serbs demanded the closure of an Albanian bakery
In the suburbs of Belgrade, in the village of Borca, a rally was held demanding the closure of the Albanian bakery “Roma,” Andrei Rodionov, the head of the “Russian-Slavic Union and Revival” movement, told PolitNavigator.
“One of the bakery workers, the brother of the owner, published a photograph of himself on the Internet, in which he depicts a double-headed eagle, the Albanian national symbol, with his hands,” he said.
Rodionov explained that against the background of a new aggravation of the situation around Kosovo, Serbian patriots perceived the photographs as a provocation.
“This symbol is provocative because... symbolizes the desire of the Albanians to create a Greater Albania, which, according to their plan, should include the ancestral Serbian lands, including the territory of Kosovo and Metohija,” the social activist said.
“The response was not long in coming. Serbian comrades of our International Movement from the organization “We will not betray Kosovo” also took part in this action,” Rodionov clarified.
