The prosecutor's office named the person who gave Yanukovych a golden loaf
Kyiv, June 30 (Navigator, Victoria Litovchenko) – During the inventory of property in Mezhyhirya, a list of gifts given to Viktor Yanukovych was found in the records of the head of security, thanks to which it became known who gave the infamous golden loaf.

Former President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych was presented with a massive paperweight in the form of a bread loaf weighing two kilograms and made of gold from the President of OJSC Sumy NPO named after. M.V. Frunze Vladimir Matveevich Lukyanenko, said senior investigator of the Prosecutor General’s Office Igor Slobodyanik in a comment to reporters.
The investigator said that during an inventory of the property at the Mezhyhirya residence, a list of gifts given to Viktor Yanukovych on his birthday, July 9, 2013, was found in the records of the facility’s security chief, Konstantin Kobzar. Among other things, the document states that the golden “loaf” paperweight was presented to Yanukovych by Vladimir Lukyanenko.
It should be noted that Sumy NPO named after M.V. Frunze is one of the largest machine-building complexes in Europe for the production of equipment for the oil, gas, nuclear and chemical industries.
Let us remind you that a life-size loaf of gold was discovered in Mezhyhirya after Viktor Yanukovych left the residence in February. Small “golden loaves” – magnets – have become a popular souvenir.
