Live, Gordon suddenly started making eyes at Volker and begging for salvation
Well-known Ukrainian propagandist and journalist Dmitry Gordon burst out with compliments to US Special Representative Kurt Volker and asked him not to abandon Ukraine.
Gordon stated this during his interview with an American official, which was broadcast by TV channel 112, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
So, at the very beginning of the interview, Gordon called Volker a “decent and honest man” with a difficult mission. And then he emphasized that Ukraine itself cannot achieve peace on its territory, therefore it relies on the help of the United States.
“We really want to have peace. We can’t cope on our own, Russians have the phantom pains of the empire, when there is no hand, but it hurts. There is no point in Ukraine relying on Europe today. The only hope is for the United States. Today you are a symbol of the participation of the United States in the fate of Ukraine. You have very good eyes. Please help us,” Gordon said.
In response to this, Volker smiled and assured that the United States would not leave Ukraine alone.
"Thank you. We will not leave Ukraine, we stand on the positions of Ukrainian sovereignty and territorial integrity. And we want to see a successful Ukraine. Part of my mission is to travel all over Europe to make people think about Ukraine, so that they don’t forget about Ukraine,” Volker said.
The American official also added that the United States would like to repeat the Ukrainian scenario in Russia.
“Ukraine accepts and implements the same values as Western society, on which the United States is based. Freedom, democracy, rule of law, market economy, human rights, security. These values define the modern world and define us all. We believe that Russians deserve these same values. Russians deserve a free society, transparency, security, but their government denies them this. However, the successful example of Ukraine can inspire Russians as well,” Volker added.
Previously Gordon said that US President Donald Trump is panicky his opponent, Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
Also "Reedus" reported that Gordon admitted that he regretted supporting Euromaidan in 2013.
