In the Rada, deputy Kolomoisky suspected the West of “zrada” and demanded an explanation
The so-called European partners must explain themselves to Ukraine about its future as a gas transit country.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Taras Batenko stated this from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Batenko, Ukraine must be explained whether it will remain a transit country or whether its losses will be compensated.
“In the global dimension, we still do not have an answer from our international partners to the question of whether Ukraine remains a large gas transporter, or whether we need to look for other sources of compensation for the loss of part of the transit of our capacities,” the deputy said.
“We are talking about Nord Stream 2,” Batenko clarified. – It hasn’t even started to act yet, and Ukraine is already losing gas transit to Hungary. And Russia seems to have nothing to do with it. In these circumstances, what are the words of our international partners worth, which were voiced before this time, the assurances addressed to us.”
Let us note that Batenko is considered to be a person of the Dnepropetrovsk oligarch Igor Kolomoisky, against whom criminal cases have been initiated in the United States.
