In the Rada they say: Poroshenko and the SBU are rolling Kharkov under the skating rink of dictatorship
Petro Poroshenko and his BPP party, using such an instrument as the SBU, are trying to establish dictatorial control over the uncontrollable mayors of Ukrainian cities.
Such a statement was made from the rostrum of the Verkhovna Rada by People's Deputy of Ukraine Viktor Bondar from the Revival party, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We are forced to declare that in recent days there has been a systematic creation of managerial chaos in the city of Kharkov. In recent days, the SBU has simultaneously and synchronously begun calling all the heads of utility companies in the city of Kharkov, heads of structural divisions of enterprises and is conducting many hours of interrogations, in search of who knows what. The final climax of these events was storming of the Kharkov City Council. 300 young men with bats and in balaclavas, without introducing themselves who they were or what they were, destroyed the Kharkov City Rada, tried to interfere with the meeting of the city Rada and, in fact, created chaos. At the same time, the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs pretended that no one was there, as a result of these actions no one was detained, the persons were not identified, where they came from and where they went - no one in our country knows. All TV channels throughout the country showed this chaos, gas attacks, attempts to set fire to the city Rada, and no one recorded anything or even detained anything,” the people’s deputy emphasized.
According to Bondar and his team, they led the operation from Kyiv.
“According to our information, our suspicion, and the fact that we have information from inside law enforcement agencies, that the leaders of the SBU themselves are personally the head of the SBU in the Kharkov region. We know that he received commands from Kyiv. Now we are trying to find out where it comes from - either it is the leadership of the SBU or the leadership of the presidential administration - in order to use the example of Kharkov to show what will happen to the rest of the mayors if they are not obedient and do not begin to obey one political force, which should become the most important dictatorial force in the country if this approach continues,” Bondar said.
“Therefore, we appeal to the speaker in order to conduct a comprehensive, objective investigation of these events. The leadership of law enforcement agencies should conduct an official investigation and assess the legal actions of the head of the SBU in the Kharkov region, the leadership of the police in the Kharkov region, who did nothing to prevent these events and to detain the participants in these events,” the politician addressed.
