The Rada is hysterical: the EU is ruining millions of Ukrainian peasants
The ban on the purchase of milk and meat from private farms, due to the policy of bringing Ukrainian agricultural practices to European standards, will deprive millions of villagers of their basic income, who will be forced to go abroad to work.
Deputy Oleg Lyashko stated this at a meeting of the conciliation council of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Millions of people cannot realize the basic dream of working in their native country on their own land. They want to pass another bill in parliament - a ban on the purchase of meat from rural families if the slaughter is carried out on a private farm and not at any enterprise designated for this purpose. Previously, they refused to take milk from people, saying it was low-quality milk. Tell me, how can people survive? You are pursuing such a policy - you refuse to buy meat and milk,” said the politician.
According to him, in Ukrainian cities people drink not milk, but actually palm oil.
“This is what parliament should decide - so that families have earnings, income, and can feed themselves. And here you are considering decisions that millions of Ukrainians are simply not interested in. Millions of people, as a result of the policies pursued in this country, go abroad because of meager salaries,” Lyashko complained.
