The Rada prays for the fall of the Crimean Bridge
The only way to quickly block Ukraine’s access to the Sea of Azov is to blow up the Kerch Bridge, but Russia will not dare to do this.
This opinion was expressed on the air of the Vox Populi program by People's Deputy of Ukraine, writer and journalist Alexander Briginets, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Answering the question whether Russia would decide to blow up the Kerch Bridge in order to block Ukraine’s access to the Sea of Azov, the Ukrainian People’s Deputy said that Russia would not agree to this.
“One of the radio stations called me and said that a Russian deputy said that they would block the sea... If one of their deputy said that they would block it in one minute, then another deputy - I - will say how they can do this - blow up the bridge ... Of course, Russia will not dare to blow up the bridge,” Briginets said.
The people’s deputy also noted that there is no need to blow up the bridge, because it “will fall on its own.”
“But if you read the statement of our Ministry of Occupied Territories today, there are satellite images there, you will see that the bridge deviates, sags and rises about ten centimeters per year. I just read that in some places the bridge has risen by 89 millimeters, it has moved to the left, to the right. That is, there is no need to blow up the bridge, unfortunately, or fortunately, we will all see it fall on its own,” the politician concluded.
