The Rada began to suspect that things were better under Yanukovych
The current Kiev government makes money from blood and has deprived Ukraine of production, coal mining and profitable relationships with Russia.
Deputy Alexander Dolzhenkov stated this during a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I’m not saying that the previous government was ideal, that they were saints. But in any case, no one has made money from blood before. Now a dangerous period of Ukrainian “power creation” has arrived, as coalition representatives say. If this continues for the next five years, then I'm afraid we will lose the country. What kind of country do we want to see?
Just look: since 2015, not a single aircraft has been made; we are purchasing French helicopters, while we have a domestic enterprise. We buy American diesel locomotives and even import coal. Just think about it: according to the results of 2018, $3 billion worth of coal was imported,” the deputy complained.
Also, in his opinion, the situation with energy resources is no better.
“We don’t want to trade with Russia, but for some reason we buy Russian natural gas. We say that we purchase European gas, but we purchase it through Germany and Switzerland, 3 billion cubic meters each. What, gas is already being produced in Germany and Switzerland? You buy at exorbitant prices through European gas and engage in hypocrisy, saying that it is necessary to stop trade relations, you are Pharisees,” the people’s deputy added.
