The Verkhovna Rada refused to recognize the DPR and LPR as “terrorist organizations,” despite the fact that Ukraine has been conducting the so-called ATO in the Donbass for three and a half years.

Thus, today, during the consideration of amendments to the law on “de-occupation of Donbass”, which the Verkhovna Rada plans to adopt, the corresponding amendment authored by deputy Oksana Korchinskaya was supported by only 76 parliamentarians out of 340 present, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This amendment notes that the organizations of the LPR and DPR, which exercise control in the occupied territories of Ukraine, are recognized as terrorist organizations. I don’t understand why the committee didn’t support this amendment if we’ve been conducting an anti-terrorist operation for three years?” – Korchinskaya was perplexed.
