The Rada does not agree to sharply dumb down Ukrainians

“I believe that taxation of education is definitely not where we should start reforms. In my district there are many private schools, kindergartens, music, sports and fine arts educational institutions that have suffered from such an innovation,” People’s Deputy of Ukraine Oksana Yurinets wrote on her Facebook page.
“If we take into account, for example, private schools or kindergartens, then the state, it is worth noting, saves on the children who study there. Not a penny goes to them from the budget. Parents pay for their education themselves. And the government also offers to earn extra money from this,” she emphasized.
As PolitNavigator reported, today the Rada plans to consider the “first package of reforms” from the government of Arseniy Yatsenyuk, on the basis of which the 2015 state budget is formed.
