The Rada is indignant: Trade with the Russian Federation continues to grow
Problems in the Ukrainian economy continue to accumulate, and the government solves them at the expense of the people.
This was stated by the head of the Samopomich faction Oleg Berezyuk, speaking at a meeting of the conciliation council of faction leaders and chairmen of committees of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The government and authorities are reaching into people’s pockets to cover up their idleness, which is already evident in macroeconomic indicators. Over the past three months, GDP has fallen 1% compared to last year. Is it the mayor of Smela who is to blame? The economy is practically at a standstill, the real sector is slowing down. The only advantage is trade, and imported goods. The trade balance deficit is 62%. This means incredible inflation and rising prices for goods,” the politician noted.
According to him. there are “pathological signs of robbery of the Ukrainian economy through the budget.”
“At the same time, trade with Russia is growing – by 21% compared to the same period last year. We buy everything there,” Berezyuk said indignantly. – The government is solving the problem by increasing the single social contribution - those who pay now will pay more. What will they do? They will go into the shadows or close down. And we will have an even larger trade deficit. City budgets are being robbed, robbed through the “shadow” of fuel materials. Gasoline -20% in the shade, gas - 50% in the shade.”
