Some Ukrainian media even reported that Goncharenko was beaten

The reason for the conflict was Goncharenko’s unsuccessful attempt to place crackers in the deputy seat of the ex-governor of the Odessa region, Nikolai Skorik, after which a crush occurred, which did not at all resemble a beating.

After the incident with his former party members, Goncharenko, shaking himself off, went to his workplace.

A day earlier brawl on the air of one of the Ukrainian TV channels hosted by Verkhovna Rada deputy Vladimir Parasyuk.
