The Rada accused the regime of genocide of the Ukrainian people
The Ukrainian leadership deliberately drives its population into poverty, then into debt, after which it deprives all property and disposes of it.
The head of the Batkivshchyna faction, Yulia Tymoshenko, stated this during a plenary meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“People in Ukraine are driven into an almost dead-end social corner. Look at next year’s budget, where the minimum living wage, which is calculated in all normal countries and below which people cannot be paid, unfortunately, was completely ignored by the budget.
And we have a minimum pension that we can now pay people, according to the minimum subsistence level, is 6 thousand hryvnia. And people are paid 2 thousand hryvnia and kopecks.
If the minimum wage, calculated on the basis of the minimum subsistence level, should now be more than 9 thousand hryvnia, today people are given 7 thousand hryvnia,” Tymoshenko said.
“How can they, Ukrainians, live in such poverty, feed their families, raise their children? You have committed real social genocide of the nation.
And then you drive them into these microcredit institutions, where people, out of desperation, think that they are taking out a loan for a couple of days, but in reality they end up with three thousand percent interest per annum, and then collection companies organize real Armageddon against them.
They are not allowed to live, they are destroyed, their apartments are taken away, their things are taken from them. And the state looks at all this because it covers these raider, completely inhuman, collection companies and microloan companies,” the deputy was indignant.
