The Rada declared Poles a threat to national security
Moscow, to one degree or another, has something to do with the blockade of the Ukrainian border by Polish carriers.
The PolitNavigator correspondent reports that Yulia Klimenko, First Deputy Head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Transport and Infrastructure, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, answering a question about the situation with the blockade of Ukrainian trucks at the border.
“Is there a hand from Moscow there? Probably there is. Did they do it themselves? No, they could not do this on the territory of Poland, because they do not have such influence either on politicians or on the business of Poland,” the deputy said.
According to her, Russia has taken advantage of the situation and is “actively doing this.”
“Moreover, this is a very dangerous situation, since the drivers blocking the borders are also inspecting the trucks. We don't know who these drivers are. If a truck, for example, is carrying weapons to Ukraine, then some Polish driver, or he is half Polish, no one knows, can open this truck, look and estimate the volume of weapons that are going to Ukraine. This is a very dangerous situation for national security.
So the issue here is not only about business and lost opportunities and funds, but also a matter of national security. Therefore, the National Security and Defense Council should have considered this issue at the Ukrainian level a long time ago,” Klimenko believes.
