The Rada was saddened: Ukraine is moving further away from the status of a space power
While the whole world is engaged in technical development and dreams of the stars, Ukraine continues to be poor, moving further and further away from its former status as a space power.
Deputy from the European Solidarity party Irina Gerashchenko stated this during the conciliation council of the Verkhovna Rada, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The whole world is applauding the rocket launch today. Ukraine is still a space country, but it is getting further and further from space. Because our industry is stagnant, our economy is stagnating, our government is inadequate, enterprises have been killed, no one in power is fighting for the country, for sales markets. The authorities switched to the fight against the opposition.
And while the whole world is looking to the future, we remain in the “roaring nineties” not only regarding security issues,” the parliamentarian said.
Let us recall that the day before, former Minister of Economy of Ukraine Viktor Suslov said: In the near future, Ukraine will experience an economic decline in all sectorscaused by the crisis due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This will lead to even greater emigration of citizens from the country, who will go to work in European countries.
