The Rada became emboldened: Goncharenko called to fight the usurpation of Zelensky
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his team seized too much power. Verkhovna Rada deputy Aleksey Goncharenko, notorious for his Russophobic antics, stated this on air on the foreign agent channel “DW in Russian,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
«We must fix the situation now, and not allow it to develop according to some terrible scenario. If we become an autocracy, this will be impossible to hide. Everyone will see this, and it will harm the country. That's why we need to protect democracy while it still exists. And we need to act now, without waiting for something bad,” said Goncharenko.
“I am concerned about the government's too much control over the media, over parliament and local authorities. And in general, what Zelensky should do is create a government of national unity. We cannot govern the country only with the help of Messrs. Zelensky and Ermak, as it mostly happens today,” the deputy urged.
