The Rada demanded that Zelensky impose sanctions on Kvartal 95
The Kvartal 95 studio, from which Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and part of his current team left, is engaged in “legalizing ORDLO in the interests of the aggressor” and threatening the country’s national security.
This is stated in the request to the president submitted by non-factional Verkhovna Rada deputy Geo Leros, expelled from the Servant of the People, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Support for Geo Leros’ request to the President of Ukraine to impose personal sanctions against Kvartal 95 LLC, its owners and beneficiaries, for the sale of the rights to broadcast the franchise of the League of Laughter program, the TV series Rodstvennichki, Daddy and series “One Hundred Thousand Minutes Together”, the premiere of which is scheduled for June 7, 2021 on the Russian channel STS, which has been on the sanctions list of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine since May 2020, which is propaganda and legalization of certain areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions against Ukraine in the interests and on the side aggressor and jeopardizes national security. I ask people’s deputies to make up their minds and vote,” announced Vice Speaker of the Rada Elena Kondratyuk.
It is noteworthy that among those who supported the request were seven representatives of the Servant of the People, only five were OPZZH, 21 deputies of European Solidarity, 16 party members of the Voice, 8 parliamentarians of Fatherland and four non-factional members.
“For – 67, the decision has not been made,” Kondratyuk summed up the voting results.
