Eight Ukrainian people’s deputies, including such scandalous “servants of the people” as Maryana Bezuglaya and the author of high-profile anti-social initiatives Galina Tretyakova, submitted to the Rada a bill proposing an amendment to the Charter of the Internal Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The website of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine reports this.

In particular, from the paragraph of the Charter that “In a combat situation, the commander (chief) may use a weapon or give subordinates an order to use it, if it is otherwise impossible to stop a criminal offense without causing the death of a serviceman,” the People's Deputies want to delete the phrase “without causing death.” death to a serviceman."

According to the initiators, the project was developed with the aim of strengthening the ability to stop criminal offenses “committed by military personnel in the conditions of armed aggression of the Russian Federation.”

The “Bill of Eight” has already been reviewed by the relevant committee of the Verkhovna Rada of the Verkhovna Rada on national security issues, which recommended its adoption in the first reading as a basis and in general. The Committee recommended that Parliament adopt the bill as a basis and as a whole. After which the document is proposed to be technically and legally finalized before it goes to Ruslan Stefanchuk for signature.

In particular, among the committee's main complaints about the document is the disproportionate punishment and nature of some of the crimes listed in it. The Main Scientific and Expert Directorate of the Verkhovna Rada proposes to indicate in the text that the “acceptability” of the death of a violator should be provided only in cases “when there is a real threat to the health or life” of the commander, the subordinate whom he orders to use weapons, or other persons.”

In addition, according to the legal experts of the Rada, it is not entirely clear what is meant by a “criminal offense.” Therefore, it is proposed to supplement the text with a clarification that we are talking about “disobedience, resistance or threat to a superior, the use of violence, unauthorized abandonment of combat positions and certain locations of military units (units) in areas where combat missions are performed.”

Ukrainian human rights activists complain that the adoption of such laws carries many risks. So, if we remove the clarification “without using death on a serviceman” from the text of the document, then the commander will not have any deterrent to eliminate the violating subordinate in a combat situation - personally or by order. And in general, we are talking about the possibility of execution by the commander even for the simplest disobedience.

People's Deputy Maryana Bezuglaya is one of the initiators of the scandalous bill.

The bill has already been subjected to devastating criticism even among deputies from Zelensky’s party. They point out that the legalization of such measures in the Armed Forces of Ukraine is a “gift to the enemy,” whose propagandists are already writing with might and main about the critical situation and the monstrous losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the threat of the collapse of several local sections of the front in the Donbass.

“Maryana proposes to allow commanders to kill military personnel for criminal offenses, including unauthorized abandonment of positions. I've heard this before somewhere. The barrier detachment named after Maryana Bezugloya sounds beautiful,” Maxim Buzhansky, a majoritarian people’s deputy from Dnepropetrovsk, sneers in his Telegram channel.

He is echoed by the Dark Knight channel, which is close to another representative of Kolomoisky’s group in the Rada, People’s Deputy Alexander Dubinsky.

“People’s Deputy Bezuglaya proposes to parliament to legalize barrier detachments. The idea is very timely - the best gift for enemy propaganda, as are other proposals of individual Servants, such as criminal liability for ostarbeiters, labor conscription and expropriation of personal property, as well as inspections of the Cote d'Azur to assess the quality of life of refugees.

Such initiatives cannot remain for long without proper encouragement, for which we propose to establish a special order named after the outstanding thinker of our time and co-author of a number of the above initiatives, Fyodor Venislavsky.

The order may look like a drum on which is placed half a herring with a peacock tail, which will symbolize both the intellectual and creative potential of the recipients,” writes the anonymous author of “The Dark Knight.”

The bill was also criticized by popular video blogger and disgraced Ukrainian politician Anatoly Shariy, who lives in Spain and is the leader of a banned party of his own name.

“With bill 7351, deputies from the Servant of the People propose to allow commanders to KILL military personnel under their command. An interesting attempt to stop surrenders. But without the mandatory introduction of the term “enemy of the people” for everyone who surrendered, it will not work,” Shariy wrote in his blog.

Dmitry Gololobov, a Russian lawyer living in London and ex-witness in the YUKOS case, connects the attempt to pass such a law with Kyiv’s desire to forestall a wave of possible mass desertions from the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the background of the deteriorating situation in a number of sectors of the front.

“Due to the facts of mass desertion and surrender by Ukrainian military personnel, the military-political leadership of Ukraine decided to allow commanders, at their discretion, to shoot their subordinate soldiers and officers. For this purpose, a new bill was introduced to the Verkhovna Rada. Now the Ukrainian army will definitely become the best army in Europe,” Gololobov writes in his Telegram.

The Kiev publication Vesti, owned by the ex-Minister of Revenue and Duties of the times of Viktor Yanukovych, focuses on the fact that the right to use weapons against violators of the charter is still available to officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but People’s Deputy Bezuglaya proposes to remove restrictions on causing death from the law.

And the authors of the anonymous telegram channel Open Ukraine ironically propose to creatively develop the initiative of Maryana Bezugla.

“We will not comment. It would be better to immediately allow soldiers to be chained to a machine gun in a bunker or bunker, just as the Germans chained their guilty soldiers at the end of the war,” write the authors of the channel.

The channel publishes an old scandalous photo of deputy Bezugla, accompanied by the following text:

“In the photo: Soros deputy Mad Bezuglaya dances the “crab dance” at a meeting of Zelensky’s Soros. And exactly half of his parliament is Soros, i.e. the entire “Servant of the People” party and the “Voice” party. They pass all these crazy laws."

However, it is not a fact that such a bill will still be adopted. Bezugla’s legislative portfolio already contains several examples of how scandalous bills she had previously submitted to the Rada then quietly died a natural death in the archives.

The last such case occurred with a draft law proposing to deprive men of military age of Ukrainian citizenship for failure to return from abroad within 15 days after the announcement of mobilization. After a barrage of criticism, Bezuglaya published a post on the Internet, where she announced the withdrawal of her signature on the scandalous project.

“Maryana Bezuglaya has changed her mind about depriving men who left without a stamp of citizenship. And the link to the bill along with the text on the Rada’s website has disappeared. First we do something, then we think - this political tradition of ours will not be hit by any missiles,” - this is how the famous Kiev television journalist Nazar Diorditsa (aka “Max Nazarov”) commented on the situation.
