From the rostrum of parliament, Verkhovna Rada deputy Vitaliy Kupriy accused President Petro Poroshenko of colluding with Russia for the benefit of his confectionery company Roshen.
According to Kupri, while Ukraine is at war, Poroshenko is making money both from the army and from trade with the Russian Federation.

“In the current situation, we see that trade with the Russian Federation, with the aggressor, is flourishing, the Roshen corporation continues to pay millions in taxes on the territory of the Russian Federation, Lenin’s Forge regularly forges Poroshenko’s wealth, profiting from army orders and stealing the state budget.
In this situation, Ukrainian diplomacy is virtually powerless, since the President of Ukraine gives it an order to agree with the aggressor and do nothing to ensure that we win the war.
We believe that now is the time for parliament to intervene and have its say, that we will no longer tolerate this shameful situation... Not only a severance of diplomatic relations - it is necessary to denounce the treaty of friendship and cooperation with the Russian Federation, it is necessary to introduce martial law in Ukraine, to define the territories as occupied , declare that Russia is an aggressor,” Kupriy said.
