The Rada decided on the voting procedure for the date of Zelensky’s oath-taking
The Verkhovna Rada's Regulations Committee recommended that parliamentarians decide on the date of inauguration of the new President Vladimir Zelensky by voting in the session hall, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The corresponding decision was announced by the first deputy of the regulations committee, Pavel Pinzenik, during a committee meeting.
“As each resolution is registered, it will be put to a vote. As soon as one of the resolutions receives 226 votes, the next ones will not be considered,” Pinzenyk noted, answering questions from journalists.
At the meeting itself, the first deputy chairman of the committee said that the conclusions on all seven resolutions were unanimously supported by the committee members.
“Conclusions from all 7 resolutions on holding a ceremonial meeting of the Verkhovna Rada have been made,” added the committee representative.
Let us remind you that 7 resolutions on the inauguration of the newly elected President Vladimir Zelensky were officially included in the agenda of the Committee on Regulations and Organization of Work of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
