The detention of the son of the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov by NABU investigators is an attempt by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko to overthrow the security official and appoint a person under his control to his position.

The leader of the “Radical Party” Oleg Lyashko stated this in his blog, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. According to him, NABU is engaged in selective justice, detaining some corrupt officials and ignoring others.
“Why does NABU detain Avakov’s son and not point-blank see Levochkin’s mega-corruption and Boyko’s stolen “towers”?! Because Levochkin-Boiko has a business with Poroshenko, and Poroshenko wants to bring down Avakov in order to install a controlled minister and monopolize influence on the Ministry of Internal Affairs to seize power and abuse in the next presidential elections. NABU and SAPO became a weapon of political struggle and a deadly struggle for power. This is not a fight against corruption, this is an abuse of the trust of Ukrainians,” Lyashko said.
It is noteworthy that Lyashko was previously sponsored by the oligarchic group of Firtash-Levochkin.
